One97 Communications Ltd is the owner of this app not comes in search on play store but the other apps like Paytm For Business, Pay tm Money which are also owned by same company still visible on Google play store.

The removal of APP from play store, The officials said in statement on Twitter “It’s Android app is temporarily unavailable on Google’s Play Store for new downloads or updates. It will be back very soon. All your money is completely safe, and you can continue to enjoy your app as normal.”


Google updated new rules for online gambling and google found the app violating these rules and due to that they removed the app. A source within Google said that the Google team that worked with developers reached out to company repeatedly to fix the issues with the app. However, App made repeated violations of the Google policy, noted the source.

Google’s Suzanne Frey, The vice president, Product, Android Security and Privacy, Explained the guidelines in a blog post. “We have these policies to protect users from potential harm. When an app violates these policies, we notify the developer of the violation and remove the app from Google Play until the developer brings the app into compliance. And in the case where there are repeated policy violations, we may take more serious action which may include terminating Google Play Developer accounts. Our policies are applied and enforced on all developers consistently” few hours after app has been disappeared from Google play store.

Suzanne also wrote “We have the same goals for our gambling policy. We don’t allow online casinos or support any unregulated gambling apps that facilitate sports betting. This includes if an app leads consumers to an external website that allows them to participate in paid tournaments to win real money or cash prizes, it is a violation of our policies”

This shows that google has evidently removed the app from play store because they found it not following new rules and guidelines for online gambling.

According to news reports that google already send notice to app developers for removal and in continuous touch with them to get the app back on play store

Vijay Shekhar Sharma the founder of this app, The indian company one97 Communications Ltd is the owner of this app. The company grown drastically by receiving massive funds from fintech firm Ant financials, which one of the part of Alibaba group.
